Inauguration of International Association of Traditional Chiefs in DR Congo

Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo – March 23, 2018t the Regional President of UPF East Africa, Rev Bakary Camara, has led the program to establish the International Association of Traditional Chiefs for Peace and Prosperity in the DR Congo. President Camara was greeted by a troupe presenting his line-up of dignitaries and traditional Congolese dances at a venue in the Mitendi district of Kinshasa.


As the event's keynote speaker, Rev. Camara explained the goal of the International Association of Traditional Chiefs for Peace and Prosperity (IATCPP) and the vision of UPF founders Rev Sun Myung Moon and his wife Dr. Moon Hak Ja Han. At the end of his speech, he presented the Reverend Moon's autobiography, As a Peace-loving Global Citizen, to His Majesty Mfumu Difima Ntinu, Head of the IATCPP's Democratic Republic of the Congo Chapter. 


The opening of IATCPP A large part of his program was the testimony of His Majesty King Ntinu at the World Africa Summit in Senegal, West Africa. On January 19, 2018, he attended the inauguration of IATCPP with around 1,200 conference participants.


Among the many traditional chiefs in attendance was a group of princesses who sang songs together. Ambassadors for Peace were also present, one of whom, also a princess, offered a prayer. The event ended with a group picture.
