Peace Road 2018 Celebration in DR CONGO

Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo – sponsored by UPF-DRC this Peace Road 2018 event saw more than 700 attendees walk 1.5 kilometers (1 mile) through downtown streets. Among the participants there was peace ambassadors, religious leaders, traditional chiefs, Women's Federation for World Peace members, Family Federation for World Peace and Unity, Youth and Students for Peace, and many young people from other youth organizations.
Before the event started, the New Hope Singers wowed the assembled audience with songs about peace. After opeining the 2018 Peace Road, Reverend Nguvulu introduce the Secretary Genera of UPF-DR Congol Jean-Pierre Kadima, who give some explanation on the vision of UPF and Peace Road 2018.
Various banners, national flag was there to colored the march. With the slogan "Peace begins in and with me", the procession was animated by marching brass band called LA Foi. To close, all the participants werer invited to leave the footprint by signing the Peace Road 2018 banner.
