UPF Mali Honors ISTAG Director and CNT Vice-President at Graduation Ceremony

Bamako, Mali — The Universal Peace Federation (UPF) Mali has reaffirmed its commitment to education and peace-building through its strong partnership with the Higher Institute of Applied Technology and Management (ISTAG). This collaboration has flourished under the leadership of the UPF Chairman of Mali, who serves as an honorary member of ISTAG. Together, they have been advancing character education and leadership development in Mali.

On November 30, 2024, this partnership was prominently celebrated during a grand ceremony held at the International Conference Center of Bamako (CICB). The event, which coincided with ISTAG's 10th anniversary, also served as the graduation ceremony for two students who successfully completed a character education program. The 1,000-seat hall was filled with dignitaries, students, and supporters of peace and education.

During the ceremony, UPF Mali honored ISTAG’s Director with the prestigious title of Peace Ambassador. This recognition highlights the institute’s invaluable contributions to fostering education and promoting the values of peace. The Vice-President of the National Transition Council (CNT) was also acknowledged for his instrumental role in attending UPF’s summits in Korea in 2022 and 2023. His participation underscores Mali’s dedication to global peace initiatives.

The National Leader of UPF Mali graced the occasion, alongside other distinguished guests, emphasizing the importance of collaborative efforts in advancing peace and education. In a gesture that further solidifies this partnership, ISTAG has offered UPF access to its conference facilities for future training sessions, ensuring continued efforts to nurture character and leadership among Mali’s youth.
