UPF-Togo Engages with Mayor of Lacs 3 Commune to Foster Peace

Agbodrafo, Togo ― On Thursday, October 10, 2024, a meeting was held at the Mayor's office in Agbodrafo (Lacs Prefecture) with Mr. Gunn Edoè, Mayor of Lacs 3 Commune. The session was attended by a delegation comprising the Secretary General of the Municipality, the Secretary General of UPF-Togo, the Mayor, and the Head of the UPF-Togo Committee.
The purpose of the meeting was to present the vision and objectives of the Universal Peace Federation (UPF) to the Mayor and to extend an invitation for him to be recognized as an Ambassador for Peace. This recognition acknowledges his dedication to maintaining peace and fostering social cohesion within his community.
The meeting concluded with fruitful discussions, advice, and encouragement, culminating in the Mayor’s acceptance of the nomination.
