UPF Angola
How UPF Africa promotes peace in Angola
Nation presentation
Situated in Southern Africa, Angola boasts a vast land area of around 1,246,700 square kilometers and is marked by a diverse population with Portuguese as the official language. The country's economic landscape is dominated by rich natural resources, particularly oil and diamonds, with the oil sector playing a crucial role in its economic prowess. Efforts to diversify the economy beyond oil and promote sectors like agriculture showcase a commitment to economic transformation. As one of Africa's emerging economies, Angola is on a development trajectory, navigating the complexities of its past while charting a course toward a more diversified and sustainable future.
