Bamako, Mali — On February 22, 2025, the Association of the Three Testaments for Peace, led by young Peace Ambassador and religious leader Aboubacar Sow, held its first major conference at the Bamako International Conference Center (CICB). Aboubacar Sow, who actively participated in interfaith dialogues during the 2019 Summit in Niger, continues to be a strong advocate for religious harmony and national unity.

This important gathering brought together a diverse audience from various backgrounds, including journalists, faith leaders such as Ousmane Barry, and the representative of the Minister of Religious Affairs, Worship, and Customs. Both the Family Federation and the Universal Peace Federation (UPF) were also invited and participated in the event, which attracted over 500 attendees.

The main objective of the conference was to examine the root causes of religious divisions within the country and to identify practical and effective ways to build lasting peace among believers. As Mali faces significant religious tensions, the fear of a potential national crisis is growing. This conference provided a space for reflection and dialogue, promoting mutual understanding and reinforcing the shared responsibility of religious actors in preserving peace and unity in the nation.
