Burkina Faso — In February 2025, His Excellency Peace Ambassador KOAMA Nestor, CEO of Iks-Edition-Imprimerie Group, launched a symbolic cultural tour through several traditional kingdoms in Burkina Faso. For the fourth consecutive year, he remains actively engaged in promoting the ideals of the Universal Peace Federation (UPF). He began this year by seeking the blessings of Royal Peace Ambassadors to ensure the success of his upcoming peace-promoting programs through culture and literature.

These initiatives are carried out in partnership with UPF, with the goal of strengthening a culture of peace through local cultural expressions and literary engagement. His approach emphasizes respect for traditional authorities and the value of collaboration between institutions.

Highlight: Visit to the Kingdom of Zoungrantenga

One of the most notable stops of the tour was the Kingdom of Zoungrantenga. His Excellency KOAMA Nestor was accompanied by the UPF Burkina Faso Provincial Coordinator, Mr. Bakari Traoré, along with four local Peace Ambassadors.

Wearing his Peace Ambassador sash, KOAMA Nestor received a warm traditional welcome. The visit was widely covered by local media, with both television and radio stations broadcasting the event.

Journalists also interviewed elders of the royal palace, capturing their impressions and highlighting the significance of the meeting. The traditional leaders expressed strong support for the ongoing peace efforts carried out in collaboration with UPF.

This tour symbolizes the union of traditional culture, literary expression, and universal values of peace — a movement that UPF Burkina Faso continues to support through its partners and dedicated Peace Ambassadors on the ground.
