DRC ― On October 24, 2024, the Universal Peace Federation of the Democratic Republic of Congo (UPF-DRC), in collaboration with Mme. Virginie Alembe, Head of the Provincial Education Sub-Division for Ngaliema 3, hosted a conference at École la Borne. The event targeted school administrators, discipline directors, and educational advisors from 480 schools, with over 300 participants in attendance.

The conference theme, "Character Education: A Foundation for Patriotic Youth," emphasized moral education as a solution to school violence. A project to train educators in character education is being formalized, aiming to extend the initiative across schools in the jurisdiction.

The event was covered by EDU-TV, pointing out the importance of the campaign in combating youth behavior and promoting peace.
