International Day of Peace: Ecumenical Prayer Organized by IAPD in Côte d'Ivoire

Côte d'Ivoire ― In anticipation of the United Nations International Day of Peace on September 21, the Interreligious Association for Peace and Development (IAPD) in Côte d'Ivoire, under the leadership of Imam Drame Moussa, held an ecumenical prayer on Friday, September 13, 2024, at 12:30 PM at the Fatima Zahra Mosque in Grand Bassam.
On this occasion, His Excellency Aka Saye Lazare, Chairman of UPF-CI, delivered a message of peace to the assembly, reinforcing the importance of interfaith dialogue and unity. The event was attended by several imams, the Director of the Ministry of Communication’s cabinet, a representative of the President of the South Comoé Regional Council, and traditional leaders.
