Seminar on Family and Peace Education Held in Dar es Salaam

Dar es Salaam, Tanzania— From November 30 to December 1, 2024, the Kinyerezi Dar es Salaam Peace Embassy and Gilgal Ministry International hosted an impactful seminar on Family and Peace Education. The event, organized by the Universal Peace Federation (UPF) and led by UPF Africa Co-Chair, Ambassador Adama Doumbia, brought together 121 participants eager to explore key principles of family and peacebuilding.
The seminar provided a platform to discuss the essential role of families in fostering peace and stability within societies. Topics included the meaning of family, the fundamentals of peace education, and strategies to create peaceful and harmonious family environments across diverse cultural and social settings.
Participants actively engaged in the discussions, sharing their perspectives and learning from the insights presented by Ambassador Doumbia. The interactive format encouraged meaningful dialogue, making the event both enriching and memorable for all attendees. Many participants expressed their gratitude, emphasizing the value of the lessons learned and their relevance to everyday life.
The seminar’s success has prompted plans for a follow-up session, where Ambassador Doumbia will delve deeper into these themes and provide further training on family and peace education. This continued effort reflects UPF's commitment to promoting strong families as a cornerstone of peaceful communities and a harmonious society.
