Tanzania ― On October 31, 2024, UPF Africa Regional Co-Chair, Amb. Adama Doumbia met with Rt. Hon. Tulia Ackton, Speaker of the Tanzanian National Assembly and Chairperson of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU).
The Speaker expressed her interest and willingness to participate in the 2025 Peace Summit in Korea, pending administrative arrangements. This engagement highlights the importance of parliamentary collaboration in advancing peace initiatives.
