Boulsa, Burkina Faso―On September 15, 2024, the Universal Peace Federation of Burkina Faso (UPF-BF) undertook a mission to Boulsa, a provincial capital located 158 km from Ouagadougou, for a special Ambassador for Peace distinction ceremony honoring Cheick SANA Mohamadi. This distinction is part of UPF's broader strategy to promote the Interreligious Association for Peace and Development (IAPD).
The ceremony was attended by several prominent provincial authorities, including the High Commissioner, the Prefect-Mayor, and the Commander of the Gendarmerie—all of whom are Ambassadors for Peace. Their presence added great significance to the event, reflecting their shared commitment to peacebuilding in the region.
In his acceptance speech, Cheick SANA Mohamadi expressed his deep gratitude to UPF for the honor and pledged to actively contribute to the promotion of essential values and work towards achieving lasting peace in Burkina Faso.
