UPF-Cote d'Ivoire Convokes Peace Ambassadors And Launches Peace Council

ODIENNE, Côte d'Ivoire—UPF-Côte d'Ivoire launched its annual convocation of peace ambassadors and the establishment of the Peace Council on May 21. It aims to mobilize a number of key stakeholders.

Among the guests of honor, the presence of the following persons was particularly noteworthy: the governor of the region, the governor of the province of Odienne, the secretary general of the province of Odienne, the deputy ombudsman of the Republic of Kabadougou, and the representative of the Odienne Regional Council. The first deputy mayor represents the mayor of the municipality of Odienne. Also present were the Chief of Police of Odienne, the Director of the Regional Water and Forest Service, and the Regional Director of Public and Private Bodies of Odienne. His Majesty King Kabadougou send a representative, as well as the Head of Odienne. Traditional chiefs of the Kabaduguu region, religious leaders, presidents of NGOs and other organizations were also present.


All participants congratulated and applauded the UPF-Côte d'Ivoire initiative in favor of the entire population of Ivory Coast.
