UPF Introduces Peace Principles to Traditional Healers in Tenkodogo

Tenkodogo, Burkina Faso — On February 28, 2025, a special conference was held in Tenkodogo, at the conference hall of the Regional Health Directorate of the Centre-East Region. The event was organized to introduce a group of eleven prospective Ambassadors for Peace, all members of the regional association of traditional health practitioners, to the vision and work of the Universal Peace Federation (UPF).
Participants attended three key presentations: an overview of UPF’s global activities, a report on UPF’s presence and work in Burkina Faso, and an in-depth explanation of the Five Principles of Ambassadors for Peace. These materials were provided by UPF’s national secretariat and delivered locally by Mr. Bakari Traoré, the UPF representative, with support from His Excellency KARA Mamadou Michel and other UPF staff.
The session began around 9:00 AM and concluded at noon, after which participants shared a friendly buffet meal in a warm and convivial atmosphere.
