UPF Rivers State Hosts Peace Education Workshop for Ambassadors for Peace
Written by UPF-Africa Friday, October 25, 2024 Nigeria ― On September 9, 2024, UPF Rivers State organized a Peace Education Workshop for local Ambassadors for Peace (AFP), aimed at strengthening cooperation and advancing UPF’s vision of peace. The workshop featured insightful lectures by Rev. George Ogurie, UPF Sub-Region West Director, and Rev. Imo Nkanta, Nigerian National Leader, who shared their perspectives on the organization’s mission and strategies for peacebuilding. After the workshop, participants received True Mother’s Memoir as a gesture of inspiration, and many pledged renewed support for UPF’s peace initiatives in Nigeria.
