Cotonou, Benin  In Benin, UPF Africa, represented by its Secretary General, and the National leader of the Family Federation, paid a courtesy visit to Rev. Dr. Amos HOUNSA, President of the Protestant Methodist Church of Benin and current President of IAPD-Benin.

Rev. Dr. HOUNSA, a participant in the 2022 Summit in Korea, where he had the privilege of meeting True Mother, has shown unwavering commitment to the values of family education, formalized through a signed memorandum of understanding. The visit reinforced institutional collaboration, and an important follow-up meeting is scheduled for February, aimed at further strengthening ties and advancing shared objectives.

Historically, the Protestant Methodist Church of Benin has been a vital supporter of the Unification Church in its early days in Benin. Notably, Pierre HOUNGBEDJI, the first African member of the church, introduced by the 1975 missionaries, including Mama Kathy, was a member of this congregation.

This visit reflects a continued effort to honor historical connections and build stronger partnerships for peace and development in the region.
