UPF Congo Chapter Hosts Flag Handover Ceremony for Peace Road 2025

Brazzaville, Congo — On November 18, 2024, the Universal Peace Federation (UPF) Congo Chapter organized a significant event to mark the official handover of the Peace Road 2025 Flag. The ceremony, which took place in the hall on the 5th floor of the Brazzaville Prefecture headquarters, signaled the commencement of preparations for the 10th Edition of the Peace Road initiative.
The event gathered 43 attendees, including nine distinguished Ambassadors for Peace, the nine Mayors of the districts, the representative of the Mayor of Brazzaville, and 25 members of the Prefect’s office. This diverse group highlighted the collaborative nature of the Peace Road initiative and its commitment to fostering unity and harmony across communities.
The primary objective of the activity was to officially present the Peace Road Flag to the Prefect (Governor) of the Brazzaville Department and determine which city would host the upcoming 10th Edition of the Peace Road in 2025.
This milestone event reflects UPF’s dedication to promoting peace and cooperation at the local and national levels. It also underscores the role of the Peace Road initiative as a symbol of solidarity and a platform for uniting people from all walks of life.
