UPF–Uganda Celebrates United Nations Day and Awards Certificates to New Ambassadors of Peace

Kampala, Uganda – The Universal Peace Federation (UPF–Uganda) held a special event at its offices in Nalukolongo, Kampala, to celebrate United Nations Day and award certificates to newly appointed Ambassadors for Peace. The ceremony was an important occasion to recognize individuals who have demonstrated a commitment to peace and the betterment of their communities.
Celebration of United Nations Day and Ambassadors for Peace Awards
The event began with a short address by Dr. David Kamanzi, Secretary General of UPF–Uganda, who spoke about the significance of United Nations Day and the role that international cooperation plays in achieving global peace. He stressed the need for local action that aligns with global peace efforts and highlighted the work of the newly appointed Ambassadors for Peace.
Certificates were presented to the new Ambassadors, who were recognized for their exceptional contributions to peace and development in Uganda. The ceremony concluded with a closing prayer and a call for continued dedication to peacebuilding efforts. The new Ambassadors for Peace pledged to work tirelessly to promote unity, understanding, and reconciliation in their communities.
