Uganda – The Universal Peace Federation (UPF) Uganda Chapter, in partnership with the Hyo Jeong Character Education (HJCE) team, conducted a dynamic school outreach program at Peace High School on June 20, 2025.
Led by Rev. Titus Kezimbira, former National President of FFWPU Uganda, and Hon. Erinah Rutangye of UPF Uganda, the program delivered a full day of character education to inspire and guide students in developing moral integrity and leadership skills.
The day was marked by enthusiastic participation from students, many of whom are members of the school’s Pure Love Club. During the event, they renewed their personal vows to maintain purity and abstain from sexual relationships until marriage, demonstrating a strong commitment to personal responsibility and shared values.
A team of 22 university students—interns with the FFWPU headquarters in Kampala—supported the program, bringing energy, mentorship, and relatable peer guidance to the younger students. Their involvement underscored the importance of youth-led initiatives in spreading messages of ethical living and mutual respect.
The event was described by participants as inspiring and transformative, equipping students with practical tools to navigate challenges and uphold principles of self-discipline, respect for others, and commitment to building strong, healthy relationships.
By investing in character education, UPF Uganda and the HJCE team continue to empower the next generation to become principled leaders and agents of peace, laying the foundation for stronger families and more harmonious communities across the country.
