Nestled in West Africa, Mali spans an expansive 1,240,192 square kilometers, hosting a diverse population with French as the official language. The country's economic landscape is marked by a blend of agriculture, mining, and livestock farming. Mali's historical significance as a center of trade and culture is complemented by its current economic pursuits, with gold and agricultural products playing pivotal roles. Recognizing the need for economic diversification, Mali is actively working to strengthen sectors such as infrastructure, energy, and tourism. The nation's commitment to fostering a more balanced and sustainable future underscores its resilience and determination as it navigates its development trajectory, mirroring the aspirations of emerging economies across the African continent.

 

Brief presentation of UPF :

The Universal Peace Federation Mali, officially registered under N°202 MIS-DGAT on August 28, 2014, with a national office composed of 14 members, including 1 President and 3 vice presidents, and a General Secretary; has approximately 1,500 declared Ambassadors for Peace, currently being updated due to some individuals passing away. The chapter actively engages in impactful projects, including organizing a Peace Festival, undertaking tree-planting initiatives around a cemetery, and participating in canal clean-up efforts in the capital.
